Gail has been painting professionally since 1990. She likes to paint objects where
the sunlight and cast shadows are the main focus. She also likes to put humor in her paintings.
She works in watercolor, printmaking, collage and acrylic. She has taken numerous
workshops from nationally known artists and enjoys learning new techniques.
She is a signature member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society and received "Best of Show"
in the 2003 show. She had a painting accepted in the 2006 American Watercolor Society Show in New York.
Her painting, “Full of Holes” was published in the book, Splash 9, The Best of Watercolor in 2006. She
also had a painting accepted in the 2007 Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Show in Colorado. Her two paintings, "Old Number 10" and "Chicken Sit" were included in the 2008 book Confident Color by Nita Leland.
